I created this blog for my wonderful friend CC, who is an amazing mother, dedicated teacher, and avid gardener.  Through her gardening adventures and love of the soil, I have gained an appreciation for what a small plot of the world can produce.  CC’s love and passion to grow almost anything is an innate gift that I feel should be shared with all.  It is my hope that her words and pictures will inspire those who yearn to dig in their own small plot of the world.

Just found a red carrot!

There are flowers on my avocado tree!!!  So, exciting!!!  I started this tree from a simple avocado seed.
