Ok, so I said that my biggest worry is white flies.  We had our tree out back trimmed and I hope that helps to reduce the white fly infestation in the development, but I'm going to try to keep them at bay with lemon juice.  I'm going to spray my trees with it and pray they stay away.  I will keep you posted!

What a difference a day makes!  The first bean plant was sprouting on Saturday, and then Sunday! So amazing that they know just what to do!

Strawberries!  I can't wait to taste them!

Planting carrot seeds! 

Well we didn't get things planted last week, but today we spent the day organizing, planting and watering.  We planted sugar snap peas, edemame, chives, cilantro, oregano, basil, thyme, green and yellow beans, carrots, 4 kinds of tomatoes, and pablano peppers. 

In a couple days, the sprouts will begin to show.  Especially beans...they grow quickly.

Time to Begin Again!

OK, so summer is over and time to begin again this year.  Very excited to get things going again.  My son and I had to make a fence to keep the kitties out!  We found a few little sprouts that have decided it was time to get started a few days ago! 
We added some new dirt and will plant our seeds tomorrow. 
By the way... I wanted you all to know that I live in Miami, and live in a townhouse.  You CAN do this!  Just get started!  Thanks MC!  :)
